The Broadband Revolution - Has it finally arrived?

It started with MWEB, one of the largest Internet Service Providers (ISP) in South Africa announcing their uncapped ADSL data package. For only R219 per month.
Of course there are the Telkom ADSL line rental fees, but once you've included everything, you can have uncapped ADSL Internet, at home, for less than the monthly subscribtion of a DStv package. read more »
Facebook Privacy

Kyle Doyle for example took a 'sickie', a day where you basically stay at home and do nothing. Most countries do not require a doctor's certificate for only one day off work. Kyle then proceeded to brag about that particular fact on Facebook. read more »
Facebook: Hot or Not?

I have been a user of Facebook (albeit not an avid one) for a while now, and while I can't say I've used it to it's full potential, I feel I have frequented it enough to make an opinion about it.
I visit the site regularly (regularly meaning 5 times a week), I check the groups every now and then and if there's an application out there that I think could be to my benefit, I'll go looking for it and I'll install it. read more »
IPv6 by 2011?

The current IP addressing system we are using is version 4. A version 4 IP would look something like this:
196.168.0.99
Okay, I've listed a private IP and not a public IP, but let's not get too technical here.
The problem is, the world is running out of public IPs. There's only so many IP addresses to go around.
So they designed IPv6. An IPv6 address looks like this:
