Who is Vernon Koekemoer?

He seems to be South Africa's answer to Chuck Norris.

He has become an overnight internet celebrity.

It first started when someone took this picture of dear Vernon:

Vernon was spotted at a local rave called H2O that is held quite frequently in Boksburg. Apparantly (and I didn't know this) Boksburg is the "clubbing capital of South Africa". You could have fooled me.  read more »

While many of us think it's quite self-explanatory, there are apparantly people who have no clue what a web site is.

In this case, a British Judge is trying three men charged under Britain's new anti-terrorist laws.

The men have been operating a web site that showcases violent Islamic material, including beheadings of Western hostages.

The case sounds open and shut to most people... but not to the judge.  read more »

I'm sure you've heard the standard excuses before. "My computer somehow lost the file" or things like "I did set the backups for 12AM!".

Fine, there ARE reasons where technology works against us.

But blaming your GPS system for the fact that you parked your car in front of a moving train? That's human stupidity hard at work there!
