Another one bites the dust
All right, another game finished on the Xbox!
This time around, I finished Halo 3, the third (and some think final) in the series of Halo games developed by Bungie Studios.
It took me quite a while though, but one thing I can say about Halo, is that this is really a game where the story is epic. There is no other description for it.
Everything you do feels bigger, better, more refined than both the Halo games before it.
From weapons, to vehicles, to the inclusion of combat items, this game just feels great to play.
Oh, for those of you who have finished the game... did you watch it past the credits?
If you haven't, I'd suggest you do. I won't spoil it for anyone, but let's just say that some information is revealed, and in my humble opinion, this leaves the door wide open for more stories happening in the Halo universe.
Now to move on to something a bit off-topic though.
Finishing this game got me thinking... how many people do actually finish games?
Halo 3 took me about 13 hours to complete, as quoted by the in-game timer. This excludes any time I spent restarting specific sections because it was difficult or I didn't understand it the first time round, or whatever. I did finish the game on the Heroic difficulty level after all.
So how many people finish games? Well I started looking around online for answers, and while I haven't found anything concrete, like actual statistics or numbers, I have found a blog discussing the very same question I had. Head on over there, it's an interesting read. For another read along the same lines, take a look at this Gamespot forum thread.
Also, now that I finished Halo 3, I can finally concentrate on finishing FM 2!
