Shocker: HP announces its intent to leave the PC market

HP CEO Léo Apotheker has announced that they want to exit the low-profit market of selling PC's and notebooks and they are going to be focussing on the software.

Other devices like the standalone Palm Pre also seems to be on the chopping block. It seems this is only one of a multitude of decisions currently happening at HP.
