Star Wars fan freezes himself in carbonite

Han Solo Well, not really.

It's actually a very elaborate job done with a full-size replica of the Han Solo in carbonite model used in the movie.

Rob, a self-confessed nerd, has a few friends in the special effects industry (lucky guy!) that happened to have one of these replicas.

One of his friends had to get rid of this replica of the prop and Rob took the opportunity with much glee.

That's when he decided to do something different with the prop. With the help of some more special effects industry friends, he replaced Han's face with his own.

Not too bad a job all together. Bit weird, but hey, that's nerds and geeks for you! If we weren't weird, we would have to rely on circus folk for that distinction *shudder*
