Searching
Submitted by gypsy on October 13, 2008 - 08:09.So I'm looking for 6 preferably unmarked metal dice. If its marked that fine but it needs to be hard so I can drill A hole through it and put a chain on it. It also needs to be engraved. This is a little project I'm busy helping with.
Does anyone know where I can get some? Thanx
Does green mean go?
Submitted by gypsy on September 8, 2008 - 20:47.So I was on my way back to Rocco's place after getting some groceries. The light at the intersection is green for me and all cars have stopped. Theres nobody infront of me and as I come around the corner to cross the green light, I glance to my right, and see a pickup truck speeding towards me.
I slam on the breaks just in time. My ABS kicks in and my car comes to a halt just as the pickup truck races over the red light and away into the distance. He must have been going at least 100km/h and hitting me at that speed from the side, I dont think I would have survived. read more »

Picking up the pieces
Submitted by gypsy on June 21, 2008 - 12:59.Sigh. Life as a student has really been hectic for the last few weeks for me. Ontop of all my student work I had freelance stuff to finish as well which wasnt easy.
I was in 5 groups for class, and we had to make a 5min movie. This doesn't sound like that much but 3 out of the 5 movies we were on set from 8am till 7am the next day! Reasons for being so late on set ranged from bad planning, to equipment breaking or actors nearly dying from over exaustion. (Actually happend when one actor was on set for 3 days straight) read more »

Why is it called Bluetooth™?
Submitted by gypsy on January 14, 2008 - 13:13."The Viking king Harald Bluetooth united Norway and Denmark. He was renowned as a great communicator, skilled at bringing people together to talk to each other – but he would never have guessed that a thousand years later a powerful technology would be named after him!"
Some food for thought.
